Public Header: Evans Center Demolition Begins! (Hidden from mobile visitors).

Dinner & Silent Auction

Was a great success. There were over 130 people in attendance.  The food was great, the speaker, Joe Gassman form Habitat, was wonderful and the bidding was hot and heavy.  Everyone had a good time and most everyone went home with the treasure they wanted.  We want to thank everyone that donated and that participated to help make this years event a success.  Our next fundraising event will be our FREE breakfast in April.  We are also planning some community meetings and activities for 2013 so stay tuned here or on our Facebook page.

Demolition Begins on Evans Center

Demolition on the old Evans Supermarket in the Driskell Heights neighborhood began today.  This will make way for the Evans Center, which will be a new multi-use facility that will be the cornerstone for the revitalization of the Powell and Driskell Heights subdivisions.
